Society and Culture: Exhibition "Across the Arctic Sea: Yesterday and Present Day" devoted to Arctic Region exploration opened in Pskov

The Pskov Regional Scientific Library launched an exhibition "Across the Arctic Sea: Yesterday and Present Day" devoted to the history and modern state, research and study of Arctic Region.

The exposition features photographs from the expeditions of the RUSARC Company to the Arctic and Antarctic. It is a kind of art diary based on the materials of a sailing yacht trip in the White, Barents and Kara Seas.

The exhibition marks the anniversaries of the Arctic and Antarctic expeditions and the opening of the Headquarters of the Russian Geographical Society in Pskov. It is part of the joint events of the Environment Information Sector of the Pskov Regional Scientific Library and the Pskov Regional Branch of the Russian Geographic Society.

The exhibition will run until November 30.
