Information Technology and Culture: Universities of Kazakhstan and Russia to launch the virtual museum "Great Altai"

Amanzholov University (Kazakhstan) and Altai State University (Barnaul, Russia) will create a website for the virtual museum "Great Altai - the Ancestral Home of the Turks", which will be launched at the end of 2021.

This resource will feature the most significant achievements and rarities of the tangible and intangible heritage of the Turkic civilization.

The project will present 3D copies of archaeological exhibits telling about the culture of the Turks from the museums of Kazakhstan, Russia, Mongolia and China.
