Marking the 300th anniversary of the proclamation of the Russian Empire and the 325th anniversary of the Russian Navy, the Museum of the World Ocean (Kaliningrad) and the Alexander Suvorov State Memorial Museum (St. Petersburg) launched the exhibition "Uniform and Fate. Honour and Glory". The project's partners are also the Museum of Defence of Sevastopol, the Central Naval Museum, the House of Officers of the Baltic Fleet, and the Private Military Historical Archive. The new exhibition tries to revive events of the great Russian military history and the fates of its defenders, who sacrificed their lives for the sake of peace.

The exhibits are genuine pieces of uniforms of the guard and naval officers of the Russian Imperial and Soviet armies of different years.

Besides the military uniforms, the exposition features weapons, awards, private things of officers, paintings and graphic works, sculptures. Items present stories of real people, their sorrows and joys, honour and glory of the country. They are ready to portray their owners. Once again, they lead us through time and epochs along the roads of Russian soldiers and sailors.
