The exhibition "Masterpieces of Russian Art from American Collections" will run in the halls of the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts until December 12, 2021. Its organizer is New York ABA Gallery. The exhibition features works by Konstantin Korovin, Nicholas Roerich, Mikhail Larionov and other masters of Russian painting.

Visitors to the Moscow exhibition will see about 70 works representing two centuries of Russian art - from Ivan Aivazovsky to Oleg Tselkov and Edward Beckerman.

The canvases by Nikolai Dubovsky, Vladimir Fedorovich, Alexander Makovsky and Konstantin Gorbatov showcase the landscape school of the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries. The key items of this section are works by Konstantin Korovin of different years, including the landscape Gurzuf (1912) and pieces from the famous series Paris Boulevards.

The central exhibit is a large-scale painting Peasant Women on the Shore from the Tradeswoman series by Abram Arkhipov, one of the younger Peredvizhniki and founders of the Union of Russian Artists Association.

Among the works of the younger generation are the works by David Burliuk. The exhibition features more than a dozen paintings by the artist. The portrait of Vasily Kamensky (1917) is of particular interest because it was considered lost for a long time.

The exhibition also includes masterpieces by Robert Falk, Alexandra Exter, Natalia Goncharova, Boris Grigoriev and other artists.
