History and culture: Exhibition "Russian avant-garde: Mechanics, Construction, Everyday Life" presented in St. Petersburg

The Engineering House of the Peter and Paul Fortress (St. Petersburg) features the exhibition "Russian Avant-garde: Mechanics, Construction, Everyday Life" which will be open until May 30, 2022. It combines exhibits from the collection of 14 Russian museums, institutes, archives and private collections and shows how mechanisms, modernization of production and technology was reflected in the art of the avant-garde of the late 1910s - 1930s and what impact it had on the daily life of a person.

The exhibition is devoted to theatrical performances of the avant-garde era.
