Memory of Russia: Exhibition “Leningrad. The Road of Life", timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the start of the legendary track, opened at the Victory Museum

November 19, 2021 the Victory Museum (Moscow) on November 19, 2021 opened the exhibition “Leningrad. The Road of Life", timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the commencement of the work of the legendary track, laid during the Great Patriotic War on the ice of Lake Ladoga.

Visitors to the exhibition will learn about the organization, preparation and functioning of the Road of Life. Museum guests will see archival documents, including numerous graphs, diagrams and maps. Moreover, visitors will be shown unique newsreels about the evacuation of people and equipment on the ice of the lake.

The exhibition will run until January 30, 2022.
