Internet and Science: State Universal Scientific Library of Krasnoyarsk Territory released the digital regional local history resource "Science of Krasnoyarsk Territory in Biographies and Works of Scientists"

The State Universal Scientific Library of Krasnoyarsk Territory released the digital local history information and bibliographic resource "Science of Krasnoyarsk Territory in Biographies and Works of Scientists" as part of the Year of Science and Technology in the Russian Federation. It accumulates information about scientists from the largest Siberian region. For many years, the library has been collecting information about the scientific landscape of this area. It is the leading institution that promotes scientific knowledge in this region.

The project aims to accumulate biographical and scientific data on scientists of Krasnoyarsk Territory on a single website, provide reliable information about scientific schools in Krasnoyarsk, collect monographic works of Krasnoyarsk scientists and publications about them, make a comprehensive survey of regional scientific book publishing.

The website consists of four sections: Personalities, Scientific Works, Institutions, Popularly about Science. Scientists' profiles include dates and places of birth, photographs, Russian Science Citation Index, ORCID, Web of Science identifiers. The section Popularly about Science proposes announcements of events, video reviews of scientific literature, video lectures of scientists, news from the world of science.

Now, the first stage of creating the resource is finished. It accumulates information about outstanding scientists of the XX and XXI centuries - corresponding members, academicians, and doctors. At the second stage, its developers plan to add personal data about contemporary scientists received from institutions and private requests of citizens.
