History and culture: Exhibition "Precious Watches and Snuffboxes" opened at the State Historical Museum

The “Precious Watches and Snuffboxes” exhibition will run at the State Historical Museum until March 28, 2022. It features watches and snuffboxes of famous European masters from the collections of the Historical Museum. These works of arts and crafts, at the height of their fashion, were a necessary part of the toilet, emphasizing the style, sense of taste and social status of their owner. Masters of various specialties worked on their creation: watchmakers, chasers, engravers, enamellers, embodying the latest achievements of their time.
