Society and book culture: The Inner Book exhibition showcases book illustrations by the Traugot brothers in St. Petersburg

The Eastern Pavilion of the Mikhailovsky Castle (State Russian Museum, St. Petersburg) features the exhibition "Inner Book" by the brothers G. A. V. Traugot, which shows visitors the work of famous representatives of the Leningrad graphics of the twentieth century. The exposition completes the exhibition program dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Alexander Georgievich Traugot. Much of the work has never been exhibited before.

The exhibition also presents easel works by the Traugot brothers, painted in different periods of their work (from the early 1970s to the end of 2021): portraits, landscapes and still lifes. The works of arts and crafts entered the exposition.

The exhibition will run until February 10, 2022.
