Memorable dates in Russia: Exhibition "Afghanistan: the memory of time is stronger" presented in Orenburg

The Museum of the History of Orenburg presents the exhibition "Afghanistan: the memory of time is stronger", which is dedicated to the Day of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, celebrated on February 15.

The exposition showcases photographs, awards and authentic items of internationalist soldiers Vladimir Bannikov and Vladimir Konev. The exhibits are located in the House of Remembrance, where the names of the soldiers-internationalists who died in Afghanistan and the names of the Orenburgers who died while serving in the Caucasus are imprinted on marble plaques.

The exhibition will run until March 15 inclusive.
