History and Culture: Exhibition “The Phenomenon of the Image. ”The Savior Not Made by Hands” by Simon Ushakov from the collections of A. Dadiani” presented in Moscow

The Andrei Rublev Museum (Moscow) showcases for the first time a previously unknown icon by Simon Ushakov, an outstanding artist of the 17th century, the tsar’s paid iconographer, who for many years headed the icon-painting workshop of the Armory of the Moscow Kremlin.

The exhibition is open until March 20, 2022.
