Volgograd "Gorkovka" to join the large-scale project "From the Family Archive: Letters from the Front"

The new interregional patriotic project is designed to contribute to the understanding of military history through the study of personal sources - letters, diary entries, memoirs, as well as photographs from the period of the Great Patriotic War.

The materials are accepted by e-mail  elbooks@vounb.ru and at the Gorky Volgograd Regional Universal Scientific Library at the address: 4000066 Volgograd, Mira Street, 15, Gorky Volgograd Library (electronic reading room).

In September-October 2022, an essay contest “My family remembers the war”, which will contribute to the formation of a value attitude to the history of one’s family, country, and, in particular, one’s region, will be held within the framework of the patriotic project.

The result of the Interregional Patriotic Project “From the Family Archive: Letters from the Front” will be the formation of an electronic exposition based on the project materials in November-December 2022 on the official website of the Gorky Volgograd Regional Universal Scientific Library.
