History of Moscow: The exhibition “Cultural Code of the Capital” opened in the centre of public services “Moi dokumenty”

The exhibition Cultural Code of the Capital has been opened at the centre of public services Moi dokumenty (My documents) of Butyrsky District in Moscow. It is dedicated to the people who lived and worked in Moscow, contributed to the development of art in the capital and got recognized in the whole world.

The exposition features several blocks that explore the important aspects of life of the city in the past years. The residents of Moscow will have an opportunity to learn which great Russian composer didn’t have any musical talent, according to his teachers, and which of the citizens have been directly involved in the cultural life of the capital. The infographic stand tells about the first ballet production in Russia.

The exhibition Cultural Code of the Capital showcases the archival audio recordings of Russian songs, pianoforte compositions, and tales read by Korney Chukovsky. It also displays video materials featuring the works of young participants of the “My District’s Legacy” contest.
