On the occasion of the 350th anniversary of the birth of Peter the Great: Books printed during the reign of the emperor to be exhibited in the State Hermitage

The exhibition “Books Published During the Reign of Peter the Great” will be open in December 2022 as part of the Year of Peter the Great in the Hermitage.

The exhibition in the Arapsky Hall of the Winter Palace will feature about 50 books in Cyrillic and civil printing from the collections of the State Hermitage, published during the reign of Per I. Publications for various purposes will demonstrate the changes in printing and the appearance of the book that took place during this important period.
