Marking Knowledge Day: “Knowledge Day on Kizhi Island – 2022” takes place in Republic of Karelia

On September 1, 2022 the event Knowledge Day on Kizhi Island – 2022 takes place in the Kizhi Museum-Reserve in Karelia.

Knowledge Day on Kizhi Island is an opportunity to start a new academic year not within the walls of a school, but on a preserved island. Lessons are conducted by specialists of the museum right near the walls of famous monuments of the Kizhi churchyard, in the church and peasant houses.

During the lessons, museum teachers will introduce participants of the event to the national culture – history, ethnography, nature of the island. Games, fun relays, creative tasks and master-classes are scheduled for the breaks between lessons.
