Education and Society: The Geographical Dictation to take place in Russia and other countries in the fall of 2022

This fall, the Geographical Dictation will take place in Russia and other countries of the world for the eighth time. In the middle of summer, RGO has already prepared the trial version of the questions for enthusiasts and professionals. On the official website of the educational project of the Russian Geographical Society, guests have an opportunity to start their preparations for one of the most interesting geography tests and to evaluate their knowledge.

In 2022, participants of the Geographical Dictation will be provided with a number of versions of the test, each one will contain 40 multiple choice questions. The tasks will be divided in two parts, based on the difficulty level. The first part will feature 10 basic-level questions about well-known geographical facts. The second part will include 30 questions that demand imaginative thinking, system logic and erudition.

All versions of this year’s Dictation will feature questions by the winners of International and Regional contests Write Your Own Question for the Geographical Dictation.
