
Marking the 350th anniversary of Peter the Great: The exhibition project “Two Cities of Peter” presented in Voronezh
The project “Two Cities of Peter”, marking the 350th anniversary of the first Russian emperor, has opened in the exhibition hall of the Voronezh Regional Local History Museum. The exhibition has been prepared jointly by the specialists of the museums of two cities – St. Petersburg and Voronezh.
The exhibition defines and reveals the parallels in the development of the two cities, marked by the genius of Peter the Great. The exposition features drawings, plans, images of Petersburg and Voronezh of the late XVII – first quarter of the XVIII century, authentic items of the Peter’s era. They are complemented by over 150 engravings and photographs of the late XIX – early XX centuries.
The exhibition “Two Cities of Peter” will run until October 9, 2022.
