29 January 2023

Digital travel service Russpass has prepared a selection of interesting spots associated with famous writers. It includes five options for traveling from Moscow by train, designed for one or two days. Each of them is complemented by recommendations of stories, poems, and essays that can be read on the road.

The Russpass guide includes Vladimir Mayakovsky’s dacha in the city of Pushkino, the Tarusa Museum of the Tsvetaev family, a memorial exposition and a branch of the State Literary Museum in the village of Peredelkino, the Solzhenitsyn Museum Centre in Ryazan, and places in Sergiyev Posad which Mikhail Prishvin liked to visit.

Each trip option has a brief description of the sights, as well as information about how and from which station to get to them from Moscow, and how long the road would take.
