
Russian Culture Abroad: Russian House of Music opened in New Delhi
The Russian House of Music has opened in the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in New Delhi (India). This is a joint project of the National Association for Participants of Music Industry and Development of Musical Instruments and Equipment, the Russian House and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
Guests of the Russian House in the Indian capital will have an opportunity to not only look at musical instruments made in Russia, but also play them. Among the exhibits are gusli, guitar, svirel, bassoon, flutes, oboe and steel tongue drum, as well as headphones, microphones and amplifiers.
According to the organizers of the project, in addition to the permanent exhibition, concerts of Russian performers and meetings dedicated to music education in Russia, performing arts and the service of musical instruments for users and tuners will be held in the Russian House.
