"The Russian flag is in the heart of St.Petersburg"

St.Petersburg is holding the scale activities, dedicated to the Day of the governmental flag of the Russian Federation. The main place of the festival will be the Peter and Paul fortress. The festival will begin by the midday cannonry shot and the ceremony of the hoisting of the flag of the Peter and Paul fortress, in presence of the Honorary citizens of St.Petersburg. The city’s youth action-race “Under the flag of Russia” will also start.

The main event of the festival is the action “the Russian flag is in the heart of St.Petersburg”. According to the festival conception, the citizens of St.Petersburg will join their hands by scarves of the Russian flag colors and will form the huge ring around the Peter and Paul fortress. This alive ring will be fixed by photo- and video from helicopters. The action will be ended by the salute of three-colors pyrotechnic salvoes.
