Secrets of Ancient Russia

100 young archeologists from the CIS and Baltic republics studying Russian and getting acquainted with Russian history have decided to reveal the secrets of Old Ladoga - one of the largest political and trade centers of ancient Russia. For centuries Slavic, Baltic and Scandinavian tribes had lived peacefully together in the place of excavations in Old Ladoga. According to historians, namely this place keeps the secrets of how absolutely different peoples could live in full accord. It was “The compatriots” Government Program that helped children to approach the far native land’s history. Every year about a hundred students come to study Russian at the summer cultural and historical university.
