Youth of Pribaikalye to Heroes of Khalkhin Gol

“The Youth of Pribaikalye to Heroes of Khalkhin Gol” international expedition, devoted to the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet-Mongolian troops near the river of Khalkhin Gol starts on the 10th of August as part of the Year of Youth in Irkutsk. 25 students of higher educational establishments and young specialists from different areas municipalities will take part in the expedition. All of them are the winners of a selection competition. The route of the expedition is more than 5 thousand kilometers long. It passes through the cities of Ulan-Ude, Kyakhta, Suhe-Bator, Darhan, Ulan Bator, Choybalsan and others. The organizers of the expedition are the Irkutsk Region Government, Legislative Assembly and the Irkutsk Uniform Russia Regional Branch.
