Regions of Russia. The problems of electronic government (E-government) is discussed in Tyumen

The All-Russian forum “Electronic government – modern mechanism of regional management” will be opened on 24 September in the Western Siberian innovative center of oil and gas in Tyumen.  During two days of the forum’s work its participants will discuss the results of the Government’s campaign, aimed at introduction of the information society in Russia.

The representatives of 30 regions of Russia and federal structures, who are in charge of carrying out the administrative reform and creating the E-government, the representatives of the Federation Council of Russia, Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC or EAEC), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Russian and International experts on E-government, and also the leading Russian and International consulting and IT-companies will take part in the forum’s work.

The forum will represent the exhibition “Information Technologies of Tyumen Region - 2009” (InfoTech-2009), which will stimulate the development of business cooperation among the IT companies. Over 30 companies will participate in the exhibition.
