Russian libraries: International library forum at the Far East

From 15 to 21 September in the framework of International library forum the representatives of Heyluntszyanskaya provincial library of Harbin will visit the Far East state scientific library. As the territorial authorities explained to a reporter of REGNUM Information Agency, Chinese librarians aim to discuss the future prospects of cooperation between the above mentioned libraries, to study the work experience of the territorial and municipal libraries of Khabarovsky territory , libraries of higher education institutions.

The library of Heyluntszyan province is considered as one of the largest in China. Its collections count up to 3 million items, the number of users is over 50 thousand. This library cooperates with the Far East state library over 19 years already. They exchange of delegations, scientific articles, books and other editions in Russian and Chinese languages.
