Russian regions: festival of historical events dedicated to the war of 1812 will take place in Penza region

On September 14 in Penza regional library named after M. Yu. Lermontov will take place the festival of historical events ‘Faces of Patriotic war of 1812’.  ‘The festival is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the victory in Patriotic war of 1812’, announced the press service of regional authorities.

In Festival’s program there is presentation of an electronic book from rare books collection ‘War gallery of 1812’. For secondary school pupils there will be a historical quiz. There also will be a musical-poetical panorama ‘The whole Russia remembers it’ and the exhibition of editions from a library collection ‘Heroic epopee of peoples’ exploit’.
