Information technologies and society: Silverlight Russian language site

Microsoft company announced the launch of Russian language site using the technology of Silverlight - microsoft.com/rus/silverlight. Microsoft Silverlight is a free of charge additional structure to browser allowing to use interactive facilities of Internet-applications.

‘We are very happy that today Silverlight technology is as ever accessible not only for professional developers but also for ordinary users who want to work with animation, computer graphics and audio- and video reels. We see a great interest for this technology that today is applied on every third computer that has connection with Internet. Many interesting projects are realized on its basis’, - said the director of Department of strategic technologies of Microsoft in Russia Dmitry Khalin.

Microsoft Silverlight technology is used by different Russian companies in order to increase interactivity and ease of handling of Internet projects for users.
