IT and government: Educational program for government officials

The Ministry of telecom and mass communications together with the Ministry of economic development are launching the educational program, which is aimed to train the government officials to work with the single portal and summary register of government services.

“The officials will be familiarized with the law basics of the register’s functioning and the work of government services’ portal, the technical characteristics of work with the single register, the use of cryptographic protection measures” – is reported in the Ministry. It was also emphasized that “in two weeks nearly 200 officials out of 70 departments have already finished the training”.

The summary register of government services must contain information about all government services, offered by the federal, regional and municipal government bodies, whereas the single portal of government services will provide peoples’ access to the information about services, contained in the register.
