IT and education: Distance website of Lomonosov Moscow State University

The distance learning website of the Lomonosov Moscow State University was launched on one of video hostings on the Internet.

Every portal’s visitor can register there. The organizers consider that it will help to prepare for exams, participate in on-line competitions, get access to the digital libraries and educational resources of the Lomonosov Moscow State University. They are sure that distance education will let handicapped people get an appropriate education. The new website will be also useful to those, who won’t be able to study in Moscow.

By now more than 200 distance learning programs have been launched on different faculties. These are educational courses for school children, programs for advanced training courses and refresher courses,  and also special courses for students and postgraduate students.
