The President of Russia: D. A. Medvedev speaks on the subject of Intern

The President of the Russian Federation D. A. Medvedev is convinced that Internet-blogs of officials will improve the public management in the society.

The President remarked that this form of interaction with public has become a necessary profile of the interaction which gives a chance to get the important information, contributes to a better understanding of the mood and behavior of those people, who participate in a blog and discuss different issues.

D. A. Medvedev cited the expert statistics, which showed that “in spring the blogosphere in Russia numbered 7,4 millions of web pages, whereas a year ago this number was half as much”. He supposes that “the Russian blogosphere is not only a dynamic and modern one, but it also seems to possess its own specific nature, its Russian “aroma””.

The Head of State mentioned that on his blogs “people actively discuss problems of daily life, not only the important political issues, but the organization of the daily life, precisely, how to make life, to put it simply, more just and up-to-date”.

The President also reported that the software of the website www.zakupki.gov.ru would be completely improved taking into account the users’ remarks, dissatisfied with inappropriate introduction of goods’ names, where some letters were replaced by the similar letters of Roman alphabet.

Today the blog of Dmitry Medvedev contains about 110 thousands commentaries.
