International events. Russia at the International book fair in Spain

The official opening ceremony of the 27th International book fair LIBER will be held on Tuesday in the exhibition hall IFEMA, Madrid. Russia, the participant of many book fairs in Spain, this year is invited as the guest of honour.

The Russian national stand at the book fair, which occupies 500 square meters,  will represent more than 3 000 books of 100 Russian publishing houses. On the National Russian exhibition over 30 publishing and book-selling organizations of Russia will demonstrate their latest publications to the Spanish experts.

The book fair provides several exhibitions dedicated to Russia. Among them: “Spain in Russian publications”, “Russia in Spanish publications”, “Classical and modern Russian prose and poetry”, “Modern Russian Literature”, “Travels to Russia”, “Russian book illustration today”, “Russo-Spanish literary and cultural relations: from the collections of the Pushkin House”, the exhibition of drawings “Russian avant-garde” etc.
