In accordance with the Presidential Decree the builders will receive state awards in the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library

On November, 20 2009 in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation “On decoration with state awards of the Russian Federation” No. 1161 of October, 15 2009 the Presidential Library will hold the solemn award ceremony of honorary diplomas, orders and medals of the Russian Federation. Among the prizewinners – are the participants of the design and implementation of the “Presidential Library” project.

On behalf of the President of Russia the state awards “For distinguished contribution to the reconstruction of historical and cultural heritage monuments, creation of objects of federal importance in St. - Petersburg” will be presented by the Head of the Presidential Property Management Department V. I. Kozhin and the Presidential Envoy to the north-western Federal District I. I. Klebanov. 

The directors and specialists of the research, planning, construction, restoration and engineering companies will receive the honorary diplomas of the President of the Russian Federation, the Orders of Honour, the Orders of Friendship, the Medals of the Order “Of Services to the Fatherland ” 1^st and 2^nd Classes. On behalf of the President of Russia V. I. Kozhin and I. I. Klebanov with announce the commendation and award the honorary titles  “Honoured architect of the Russian Federation”, “Honoured worker of Communications of the Russian Federation”, “Honoured builder of the Russian Federation” and “Honoured power engineering specialist of the Russian Federation”.

The project of Synod reconstruction has been carried out at the earliest possible date due to the efforts of the following organizations: “Northwestern directorate for construction, reconstruction and restoration Federal State Institution”, “Department of capital construction”  Department for Presidential Affairs of the Russian Federation, “Logos”, “Peterburgtransstroy”, “Kredo”, “Kare”, “Eurovent”, “Kovcheg-parket”, “Company 7+11”, “Maxima”, “Saturn”, “Firm “AS”.

The reconstruction of Synod building was completed by May, 27 2009. The solemn ceremony of its opening was attended by the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
