
International events: Historians discuss the heritage of “cold war”
On November, 18 the Cambridge University in Great Britain will hold the 2-days International Conference, dedicated to the recollections about the “Cold War” and discussion of its heritage.
The Conference in the Churchill College, Cambridge, which commemorates the 800-year anniversary of the Cambridge University and 20th anniversary of the fall of Berlin Wall, was initiated by the Churchill Archives Centre and the Center for Public Policy of the Tennessee State University (USA).
The International Conference will bring together the historians, scientists, diplomats, politicians and servicemen from the USA, Great Britain, European countries, Russia and Asian states. The secretary of State, the Deputy Minister of foreign affairs of the Russian Federation Grigory Karasin will come out with the Russian standpoint on the events of the World history of the 2nd half XX century.
