International Day for Tolerance: Diploma of UNESCO Prize will go to St. - Petersburg

UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Prize for the promotion of tolerance and non-violence 2009 will be awarded on November, 16 in the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

The program “Tolerance” carried out by St. – Petersburg will receive the diploma of this Prize because it contributes to the propaganda of mutual respect and tolerance in the society and takes an active part in the prevention and eradication of all the forms of discrimination. The Diploma will be presented to the Permanent delegate of the Russian Federation to UNESCO Eleonora Mitrofanova.

The UNESCO Prize for the promotion of tolerance was presented to St. – Petersburg on October, 20.
