Libraries of Russia: Future Lermontov library project recognized as the best in the country

M. Yu. Lermontov Penza Regional library which is only planned to be built in the micro-district Arbekovo took part in the contest together with other 417 libraries from all over Russia. Its project has been recognized as the best at the 1^st All-Russian contest among the libraries of Russia in the category “Best library project on state symbols popularization in region”. The so-called contest was announced by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Its goal is to provide assistance to the libraries in promotion of the state symbols of the Russian Federation as a part of the youth patriotic upbringing.

The contest brought together 417 libraries from different regions of the Russian Federation, its results were announced in the beginning of December, at the closing ceremony of the International Fair of intellectual literature.

The project “Great symbols of Russia”, provided by the M. Yu. Lermontov Penza Regional library received an award as one of the best.
