Archives: IT in regional archives

Delegations of the Buryat and Udmurt Republics familiarized themselves with the archival policy in Perm Krai and considered the issues of collaboration between republican Committees on archival policy.

Perm regional server informs that the archival workers of the Buryat Republic were attracted by the experience of IT implementation in the archival policy and the agreement on purchasing the software, developed in krai, has been reached. The Udmurt colleagues showed a keen interest in the work organization of state archives and state services rendering in electronic format and via the Internet.

It should be mentioned that from this year the Agency of the archival policy of Perm Krai has launched a new service, which provides the archival inquiries via the Internet. It is available not just to the residents of Perm Krai but to residents of other regions of the country as well.
