Russian language: Russian literature in context of the world culture
The 3rd International Symposium “Russian literature in the context of world culture” will take place on December,18 in the “Pokrovskoye” sanatorium in Moscow region and will continue for 4 days.
The coordinator of symposium Yelena Novozhilova informs that this function will bring together scholars, writers, and translators from Russia, CIS and far abroad.
Forum is held by the Dostoyevsky Fund with a support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian federation, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency on Press and Mass Communications, “Russkiy Mir” foundation and others.
It provides visa support service, cultural program and the book exhibition-fair. The collection of materials will be published on forum’s closing.
Symposium will include sessions and colloquiums on the following topics: “Russian language as means of world communication”, “Religious and philosophical search of Russian literature”, “F. M. Dostoyevsky and West”, “L. N. Tolstoy in Russian and World Artistic consciousness”, “Russian and European literary avant-garde”, “Soviet civilization experience: literary constituent”, “Russia – West – East in the dialogue of cultures”, “Problems of literary translation” etc.
Participants of symposium will take part in the round tables in order to discuss the wide range of problems related to museums of literature, the phenomenon of youth prose in the modern socio-cultural space and other topics.
