Museums and IT: Museum’s displays database online

The Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the world's largest museum of decorative arts and design, has published a database of over a million museum objects at: http://collections.vam.ac.uk/.  Approximately 10% of these records have images attached and the database is continually being updated.  All images can be re-used for personal educational and research purposes.  Check the “Using Images” section for conditions.
