Digital libraries: Chekhov Library in Taganrog to become digital

The Central Municipal Public Library named after Anton Chekhov in Taganrog is going to digitize all the books, kept in the library in order to commemorate the anniversary of the Great Russian writer Anton Pavlovich Chekhov and also to provide the access to the Internet and the electronic catalogue of theses.

In January-February the fellows of the library will visit Moscow to attend the refresher courses. The press-service of the Mayor of Rostov region informs that the building will be also renovated and redecorated. Today the library is being reconstructed.
