Regions of Russia: Ryazan Kremlin cathedrals go through restoration

Cathedrals, which are located on the territory of the Ryazan Kremlin’s complex, will be restored and acquire their original exterior. The restoration works will be carried out in accordance with unique colour photographs of Ryazan Kremlin, made in 1908-1914 by the photographer Sergei Prokudin-Gorsky.

The most complete photo collection of the Russian photographer is housed in the Library of Congress.
