Society and Church: Miracle-working icons at the “Baptism of Jesus” exhibition-fair

In the course of one week residents of Moscow will have a unique chance to see the icon of Our Lady of Iveron and the icon of Our Lady of Mstyora in Vladimir region. This became possible due to the Orthodox exhibition-fair “Baptism of Jesus” at the All-Russian exhibition center, which will take place from 15 to 21 January. 

"Among the exhibits will be the icon of Our Lady of Iveron and the icon of Our Lady of Mstyora, which is wonder-working", – informed the organizer.

He reported that the exhibition-fair would be held in the pavilion 69 and display about 500 of exhibits. 

"Among other interesting exhibits is the icon Our Lady of the Sign, which was taken on board of the space ship with the carriage of Sergei Krikalev and flew around the world on the space ship thus performed a crucession (Cross Procession)”, – added the organizer.

The fair-exhibition will also provide the consecrated products from monasteries, Orthodox literature, jewelry, goods from linen and cotton. The organizer added that part of the income will be donated to the charity and directed to orphanages.
