Education abroad: New Masters module for teachers of history launched in the UK
A new Masters module in history education has been launched, developed by The National Archives in partnership with Roehampton University. Taking place at both Roehampton and The National Archives from April, the course focuses on finding creative ways to use historical evidence with students in the classroom. Applications are invited from teachers who wish to take this as a stand-alone CPD course, as well as those who are enrolled on the MA Education at Roehampton.
Teachers undertaking the course can draw on the expertise of staff at both institutions to develop their history curriculum in either the secondary or primary sector. In addition to the award of 20 Masters level credits, participants will have the opportunity to create resources based on their own archival research. These will then be published on The National Archives' award winning education website.
