65th Great Victory Anniversary: French Naval to mark Victory anniversary in Murmansk

The crew of a French Naval vessel is going to participate in parades in commemoration of the 65^th Victory anniversary in the Hero City Murmansk.

Prior arrangements on this matter were made between the foreign-policy and military departments of both countries.

Moreover, the oblast organizational committee, which is responsible for the preparation and holding the 65^th Great Victory anniversary celebrations, is going to renovate memorials and monuments of the military glory, and take care of mass graves and military burial places in Murmansk oblast.

Within the framework of the traditional “Watch of Memory and Sorrow” veterans and the youth will visit graves in the Valley of Glory.  Lessons of courage will be organized at schools of oblast, thematic exhibitions, evenings-meetings, excursions, concerts, creative competitions, and sport contests will take place in commemoration of the 65^th Great Victory Anniversary.
