65th Great Victory Anniversary: Cities-Heroes to display fireworks

On May, 9 19 Russian Cities-Heroes are going to celebrate the Victory Day with fireworks, informed the Directorate for Press Service and Information of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.

"Fireworks is a traditional part of May celebrations, marking Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This year salutes and fireworks will be displayed in 19 Cities-Heroes, which are going to hold military parades: Moscow, Voronezh, Smolensk, Tula, St. - Petersburg, Murmansk, Rostov-on-Don, Vladikavkaz, Nizhny Novgorod, Novorossiysk, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Yekaterinburg, Chita, Novosibirsk, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Sevastopol, and Kaliningrad", - added in the Ministry of Defence.

According to the Ministry "in 24 cities, which are going to mount army marches, firework displays will be held in accordance with decision of local authorities".
