The final stage of the literary youth festival “Other side of book” took place at the Gorky Library in Yekaterinburg. It was dedicated to the 65th Victory anniversary in the Great Patriotic War.
Pupils displayed a good command of works about war, particularly, the novel by Mikhail Sholokhov "They fought for their Country", the poem “Vasily Tyorkin” by Alexandr Tvardovsky. The festival brought together 13 teams. Its winner got a travel voucher to St. - Petersburg.
The thematic contest was organized 4 years ago as a project aimed for reading promotion among children. Earlier it put spotlight on the Japanese and English literature, works of Ural writers, adventure novels, and ancient myths.
