65th anniversary of the Great Victory: 100 thousand of ribbons of St. George in Komi Republic

18 March 2010

Komi Republic ordered 100 thousand of ribbons of St. George. It is 40 thousand less than last year but the number should satisfy the requirements of municipalities, said Komi Republic Head Adviser Alexander Pasechnik.

According to him the first lot of ribbons will arrive to the Republic until the end of March.

‘The number of 100 thousand should be enough. We are very glad that this year the ribbons are ordered not just by 20 municipalities (8 thousand each in average) but also the private enterprises. They will be distributed by activists’, - said Mr. Pasechnik.
