The 3rd International Conference MEDIAS-2010 on Computer Science will take place in May 10-13 2010 in Limassol (Cyprus). The conference has been organized with joint efforts of the Mediterranean Institute of Applied Sciences (Cyprus) and the Institute of Computing for Physics and Technology (Russia).

As in previous years the conference program covers a very wide range of topics from the creation of computer dialogue systems to such general issues as "humanitarian computer science". This concept implies interpenetration of two layers of cultural civilization: humanities, on the one hand, and the so-called exact sciences and technologies, on the other.

Key themes to be discussed at the conference are:

- Computer and Human, Computer science and Art;

- Art and Virtual reality;

- interactive systems;

- virtual reality;

- artificial intelligence;

- neogeography;

- off-line adaptive control;

- computer education;

- languages (including dialects of Russian language, used in chats and sms);

- Russian education in Europe;

- History of Computer science.
