Society and youth: “Laurentian breakthrough” mounted in Novosibirsk oblast

On March, 2 Novosibirsk is launching a “Laurentian breakthrough” project, which will recognize and support innovative initiatives of the youth. The project is aimed at transformation of the region into a platform for development and implementation of innovations.

This project, which is one of the key projects for young innovators, is likely to become a selection stage for participation in the International Youth Innovation Forum “Interra-2010”, which will be held in Novosibirsk from 22-25 September 2010. The Regional Administration’s press service claims that due to the “Laurentian breakthrough” project over 300 young researchers, aspiring to innovation work, will have a chance to display and realize their potential with a help of developed navigation system and integration of participants into existing programs of development and promotion of innovative projects.
