65th Great Victory anniversary: Website for veterans and siege survivors mounted in Smolny

Within the framework of the St. Petersburg Administration session the chairman of the St. – Petersburg Committee for Press Yuri Zinchuk released a website for veterans and siege survivors.

The official claims that the portal “Leningrad-Pobeda.ru” (Leningrad-Victory.ru) will be launched in the near future. Its official presentation for journalists and veterans will take place on May, 5.

According to Mr Zinchuk, the website will provide chronicles of the besieged city, photographs of exhibits of the war time, as well as the stove from the communal flat of the chairman of the Committee for Press. It also contains addresses of museums, which have prepared thematic exhibitions for the Victory Day.

Yuri Zinchuk stressed that the “website-museum” was a unique portal, which was dedicated not only to the Victory but also to the events, related to St. Petersburg.
