65th Great Victory anniversary: A photo exhibition “Victory Day” mounted in Varna

The action “Russian world – memory of the heart”, dedicated to 65th Great Victory anniversary, kicked off at the Russian Center of the Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” in Bulgaria.

According to the press service of Russian center, opening of the photo exhibition entitled “Victory Day” has been recently launched. The opening ceremony brought together the rector of the University, Professor Anna Nedyalkova and Consul General of Russian Federation in Varna Yuri Solovyov, professors and students of the university, representatives of public organizations, and journalists.

At the exhibition’s opening ceremony Yuri Solovyov reminded about contemporary attempts to distort consequences of the World War II and wished young people never forget lessons of history, value and preserve peace on the planet.

The Head of the Russian Center, Galina Shamonina, told about exhibits of the exposition, and stressed a hard job of war reporters. Participants familiarized themselves with the exposition and discussed events, represented in the photographs.

The exhibition will be open up to April, 30.
