
Information technologies and science: scientific conference ‘2010 Information technologies and systems’ will take place in Gelendzhik
September 20 -24, 2010 Gelendzhik will hold the scientific conference ‘2010 Information technologies and systems’. ItiS’10 is the 33rd conference of young scholars organized by the A. A. Kharkevich Institute of Information Transfer Issues under the Russian Academy of Science. The chairman of the conference Board of guardians is academician E. P. Velikhov, a member of the Russian Academy of Science Presidium and academician secretary of Nanotechnology and Information Technology Department of the Russian Academy of Science.
The main objective of the conference is to provide a possibility to young scholars, students and aspirants of the Russian Academy of Science Institutes and the leading Institutes of Russia to meet each other, exchange experience of scientific work and discuss topical problems in different fields of activities related to information technologies. Last year the conference was attended by students from various Moscow Institutes and young scholars from the leading research Institutes of the Russian Academy of Science.
Along with addresses of young scholars, the audience will hear the lectures of the world known scientists. The academician of the Russian Academy of Science Yuri Apresyan, a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Science Alexander Kuleshov and Doctor of Biology Mikhail Gelfand have already confirmed their attendance.
This year the conference will be held at one of the best sanatorium of the Black Sea coast ‘Blue wave’. It will be the largest conference of young scholars of A. A. Kharkevich Institute of Information Transfer Issues under the Russian Academy of Science. The conference working languages will be Russian and English. Here are some of the topics covered at the conference: technologies, standards and protocols of data transfer networks; information technologies and management problems in complicated systems and networks; mathematic theory of information and management, multicomponent stochastic systems; data transfer, protection and processing; computer linguistics and natural language design; information processes in living systems; bioinformatics; algebra, logic and theory of numbers.
